  • Date of birth will again be required in line with guidance from federal law enforcement and industry best practices.

Tips to Speed Up Your Entrance

To speed entrance at all venues, we strongly encourage everyone to

  • Register online
  • Pick up your badge at the airport or select hotels before arriving at the show.
  • Leave luggage, large bags and bulky clothing at your hotel.
  • Plan ahead. Allow extra time to enter show venues and arrive at meetings and events.

On-site Security Measures

  • You must have an official CES badge and government-issued photo ID to enter.
  • All bags will be subject to search and metal detection screening will be in place upon entrance into CES venues.
  • Designated entry points will ensure quick and easy access to exhibit halls and reduce the number of times you go through security.
  • Rolling bags of any size will not be permitted on the show floor, including luggage, carry-ons, laptop and computer bags and rolling luggage carts.
  • Only two bags, each smaller than 12” x 17” x 6", may be brought into official show venues. Consider your bag type and use clear bags (mesh, plastic, vinyl, etc.) to expedite the process.
  • Bag check facilities for luggage and oversized items are located at the LVCC, Central Plaza next to the main registration tent, Sands, Level 1 Lobby and Venetian, Venetian Ballroom Foyer.
  • Private vehicles are allowed at the LVCC and Sands in designated areas only and will only be permitted to drop off passengers. No standing or unloading at any time.

Media Rules and Allowances

Media attending CES will be subject to the same security and safety procedures as general attendees with some allowances.

  • Media are also allowed two personal bags, each smaller than 12” x 17” x 6". Rolling bags and luggage are not permitted.
  • Beyond this personal bag restriction, members of the media will be permitted to bring media or broadcast equipment, hand-carried or on wheels, onto show premises through designated entrances. This equipment will be subject to search and then tagged as approved for entry.
  • Members of the media must have a fully visible CES media badge before entering. Security will check CES badges and government-issued photo ID. You must carry both at all times.

We strongly encourage all members of the media to register and pick up badges prior to arrival at any show venue.
