What to Expect: New for CES 2020

October 4, 2019

Every January, CES® is the gathering place where next-generation innovations are first introduced to the marketplace, where entrepreneurs and established industry pioneers who know what’s what in the tech ecosystem come together to showcase the breakthrough technologies redefining the way we live and solving some of the world’s most pressing needs.

CES 2020 is geared to unveil the most jaw-dropping innovations across the tech world.

Innovation for All

Shelley Zalis, CEO of The Female Quotient (The FQ), leads an inspiring movement toward gender equality in the workplace. The FQ supports and mentors women to find their voice, embrace feminine leadership powers and work to transform corporate culture.

Through her movement, Zalis has connected more than 18,000 women in business and created the largest female-led community to change workplace culture.

The FQ’s signature pop-up experience, the FQ Lounge (formerly the Girls’ Lounge), will be bringing a “Home of Equality” to CES this year. CES is pleased to welcome Shelley Zalis and The Female Quotient as the official Equity Partner for CES 2020.

Also new for CES 2020 is Innovation for All conference programming, which willl take place throughout the show on multiple stages. Conference sessions will explore chief diversity officer insights, product inclusion, contributing to the bottom line, culture shifting and hiring differently, and investing in diversity.

Watch for conference programming to be announced soon.

Transforming Travel

At CES 2020, experience the new Travel and Tourism exhibit area that will show how smarter and safer technologies are transforming the travel and tourism industries, providing a more enhanced, efficient and customized consumer experience.

Marking the first time an airline will headline the CES keynote stage, Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian will deliver a CES 2020 keynote on Tuesday, Jan. 7. Delta will also anchor the new Travel & Tourism exhibit area.

Keeping the World Safe

Experience an expanded exhibit space and conference programming that will showcase resilience technologies helping countries and municipalities with preparedness, responsiveness and recovery for a more secure world.

In the face of adversity, technologies that cover communication and redundancies, water crises, cybersecurity and disaster recovery help keep the world healthy, safe, powered and fed.

Companies like the World Bank will offer an in-depth look into the tech vision for a world where societies manage and adapt to disasters.
