Every year at CES, businesses of all sizes are given the opportunity to showcase their creativity and innovation at competitions and award programs across the four days. Here are the winners of a few of these events from CES 2020.
ShowStoppers LaunchIt Media Days Power Session
In this curated pitch competition, 10 Eureka Park startup companies pitched their products for funding and a product review.
WINNER: Caregiver Smart Solutions
A remote caregiving system enabled through connected, discreet sensors that show insights through an app and encourage independence.
CTA Foundation Pitch Competition
Sponsored by AARP Innovation Labs, the CTA Foundation Pitch Competition featured innovative technologies that enable people of all ages stay active and performing at their best.
WINNER: Zibrio
The Zibrio SmartScale measures balance to assess fall risk, helping older adults and assisted living facilities anticipate needs.
Ignite the Night Pitch Competition, Presented by NASA iTech
NASA iTech seeks new ideas and technologies that could benefit future space missions. Ten innovators had the opportunity to fast pitch their technologies to an audience and panel of judges, including NASA chief technologists and investors.
WINNER: Otolith Labs
Otolith’s core technologies are developed to address vertigo solutions and motion sickness. The technology can be integrated with any head-worn device, including virtual reality headsets, headphones and military headsets.
New Voices $100K Pitch Competition
New Voices, an initiative committed to supporting female entrepreneurs of color across the globe, provides access, capital and expertise to women at all stages of business, across diverse sectors.
Mark of Excellence Awards
The Mark of Excellence Awards, presented by the Smart Home Division of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, recognize the best in custom integration and installed technology.
Last Gadget Standing
Finalists competed live on stage to determine the product most likely to succeed. Hosted by Emmy Award-winning tech-life columnist Jennifer Jolly, a New York Times "Wired Well" columnist and host of the digital lifestyle series TechNow for USA Today.
