SK Geo Centric’s (SKGC) UD (Unidirectional) Tape is an intermediate substrate manufactured by impregnating various plastic matrices (PP, PE, Nylon, etc.) with fiber-type reinforcing agents (e.g., Glass/Carbon Fiber) in one direction and then winding it in the form of a tape. Like the steel structure of a building, fiber-type reinforcing agents maximize the rigidity of materials. UD Tape has a very high content of reinforcing agent (over 60%), so it can produce high-performance molded products. Through the development of optimized structural design and forming method, it can be used in various applications like aircraft, automobile parts, and high rigidity frames.
