Martha Bird

Business Anthropologist, ADP

Martha Bird is a Business Anthropologist working in ADP’s Roseland Innovation Lab.   Since receiving her Ph.D. in Anthropology, Martha has helped global brands create meaningful services, experiences, and products by both questioning and responding to the social and cultural dynamics of technology. Today, she supports innovation in global product development to ensure future generations of ADP's HCM technologies are informed by the wisdom of human cultures and the everyday encounters that shape, evolve and transform the way we work. Martha has spent time around the globe conducting research and working with leading companies to help solve their toughest business challenges. Her expertise and training enable teams to capture the unspoken human experiences and thread them into innovative projects. Martha contributes to numerous publications and has been featured in the New York Times for her expertise adding the human experience into technological development.
