Adam Kovacevich

Director, Public Policy, Google

Adam manages Google’s U.S. public policy issues and external affairs team, leading the company’s policy strategy on privacy, security, copyright, patent reform, child safety and other issues, as well as its partnership with policy advocacy organizations. He previously led the company’s public affairs and public policy strategy on antitrust issues, and led Google’s public policy communications team. Prior to Google, Adam served as an Assistant Vice President at Dittus Communications and Communications Director at the Information Technology Industry Council. Adam served as a press secretary in both the House and Senate as well as a communications strategist on presidential, Senate and House campaigns. Adam is a graduate of Harvard University and resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and three kids.
