Colette Lucas-Conwell

Professional Coxswain, U.S National Rowing

Colette is the first woman to be invited to train as a coxswain for the U.S. Rowing Mens National Team. Her goal is to cox the Men's 8+, the fastest boat category in rowing, to a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Colette is a two-time World Champion in the Under-23 Womens 8+, two-time All American, four-time ACC Champion, and won the Head of the Charles twice. She works full time in the Office of the President for the Oakland A's in between her training sessions, where her role revolves around the new ballpark set to open in 2023. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2017 with a Economics degree and a minor in Leadership.
