Linda Holleran Kopp

Linda Holleran Kopp is an Attorney at the Division of Privacy and Identity Protection in the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. Ms. Kopp has practiced consumer protection and antitrust law for over 15 year in the private and government sectors, leading non-public investigations in the mobile app, social media, entertainment, healthcare, and financial services industries, among others. Her investigations have involved numerous privacy and data security issues, including mobile, online and network data security standards; unfair and deceptive data collection and tracking practices; supply chain issues; the Internet of Things; and FCRA. Ms. Kopp received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, magna cum laude, and is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia.
