Lisa Winter

Mechanical Engineer, Quartz

Lisa has over 20 years’ experience designing and building robots. She has competed in Robot Wars and BattleBots competitions since 1996. Lisa was named one of the top 25 women in robotics you need to know about by Robohub. She has been inventing and rapid prototyping connected devices since the beginning of the IoT movement, and in 2017 helped launch Fisher Price's first and only wearable baby monitor. Lisa recently joined an early stage startup working on the future of construction. In her free time she mentors kids in robotics, and is working with a team to make and deploy an orangutan tracking device aimed at saving the species.
