Ryan Pulliam is the co-founder and CMO of Specular Theory, an award-winning immersive content and technology company that creates and distributes cutting-edge, premium and authentic experiences for VR/AR and mixed media. She is a frequent keynote speaker for her work in marketing and VR and was named Top 20 Women in VR and Top 101+ Women Leading the Virtual Reality (VR) Industry. As a fast-growing and acclaimed studio, Specular Theory has been recognized for their thought provoking works, including their Perspective VR trailblazing original film series on empathy which was one of the most talked about pieces at the 2015 and 2016 Sundance and Tribeca Film Festival’s. Specular Theory also received the first-ever VR award from The Streamy Awards (Game Lab in 360) and was one of five companies to win the Innov8 v-commerce competition presented by Walmart’s tech incubator Store No.8. In 2018, Specular Theory won Best Branded/Commercial VR experience at the VR Fest Awards at CES for Behind The Style; an interactive VR fashion story and recently launched their first LBE game in partnership with Sony Pictures for Hotel Transylvania Popstic which launched this summer at over 500 VR arcades worldwide.
