Stacie M. de Armas is Vice President Strategic Initiatives and a Public Affairs Leader within Nielsen’s Diversity & Inclusion practice. She is a subject matter expert, a thought leader and a frequent speaker on the U.S. Hispanic market. Stacie works with major brands, multicultural organizations, advocacy groups, policy makers and more to uncover Hispanic market trends, and share how to tap into the power of the market. She joined Nielsen in 1998 and has served in many roles related to multicultural marketing, but Hispanic marketing is her passion. Stacie sits on several advisory councils and boards and has been the recipient of industry honors, but what is most important, is she is here with us today to share her insights on the marketplace on behalf of Nielsen. Keep your eyes open for her as she will be presenting at both CES (Consumer Electronics Show) and South By Southwest in 2019. Stacie is an adjunct professor of Qualitative research at Cal State LA and, when forced to make a decision, she will always choose tostones over maduros. She is first generation Cuban and will happily tell you about her recent trip to Havana.
