Todd Clever

Professional Athlete, International Rugby Legend

Todd Clever is a professional rugby legend who plays for the US Major League Rugby (MLR) team, the Austin Elite, and is a member of the US National team, The Eagles, where he served as captain, and holds the record for tests played (76 caps). He is co-owner of the Austin Elite, strategic partner for the Austin Management group, and serves on the USA Rugby Board of Directors. Todd also played for the US 7's National Team playing in 25 World Series tournaments. Well known as Captain America in the world of rugby, Todd has had a successful international career. He played Super Rugby in South Africa for the Lions before moving to Japan to play for Suntory and NTT Communications. He played for North Harbour in New Zealand and for the English Premiership League for the Newcastle Falcons. Among other accolades, Todd was named the 2008 USA Rugby Men's Player of the Year by World Rugby Shop, North American Player of the Decade, and the Ruggamatrix USA Player of the Decade for 2000–2009.
