ARTIS is the world’s first AR training simulator for invasive clinical procedures and surgical training. ARTIS consists of three modes: Learning, Training, and Testing. In Learning Mode, ARTIS provides background medical knowledges on a variety of essential invasive procedures, including target patients, methods, and precautions. In Training Mode, learners can perform procedures on elaborately crafted silicone models that resemble actual anatomical structures, allowing them to repeatedly train in the most effective and safe procedures. Finally, in Testing Mode, entire procedures can be performed sequentially without AR guidance and clinical appropriateness is assessed by a score and communicated to educators.
