LG TV customers gained peace of mind in 2024 knowing that every year for the next four, they will get the latest and most secure version of webOS. Consumers of selected 2022 TVs already got webOS 23 updates, then will receive webOS 24, 25, and webOS 26. Most newer LG TVs will also get 4 updates.

By updating software, user data has less risk and LG’s Secure Development Lifecycle process identifies and addresses security vulnerabilities. The webOS 22/23 update was certified by the British Standards Institution, denoting it provides enhanced stability and safety through the integration of advanced security technologies.
