A major update to the original 6-channel Play-Fi Home Theater launched in 2021, Play-Fi Immersive Home Theater wirelessly plays immersive formats like Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced from Play-Fi compatible TVs to discrete speaker layouts, up to 7.2.4, free of virtualization. Play-Fi Immersive Home Theater eliminates unsightly wiring, TV dongles, and AV receivers by re-using the Wi-Fi radio built into every SmartTV, giving consumers the flexibility to place speakers wirelessly throughout the room.
