The Live Activities iOS mobile app feature (similar feature coming soon to Android devices) helps United customers stay informed in real-time. Without even unlocking their iPhone, customers can see live flight updates, like flight number, on-time status, inbound aircraft status, estimated departure, and more, right on the lock screen or in the dynamic island on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. When it’s time to board the aircraft, customers can open their boarding pass directly from their lock screen to easily scan. The technology ultimately puts all the flight information a customer may need at their fingertips.
