The supply of EV chargers is not met to the demand due to increased number of electric vehicles. Today users are wasting time at a charging station to use a charger. Chaevi developed “Smart-Way App” that recommends an optimal charger based on the location and destination information of the vehicle currently being driven. When selected, the charger becomes "prebooked" and waits for the user. At the “Smart-Way Charger”, the user enters a preset PIN number and starts charging immediately without waiting in line. The “prebooked” duration is configurable and penalty can be applied if no show happens.
