The VA600R automotive chipset delivers resilient, symmetric, long-distance connectivity over the existing wiring infrastructure of a tractor-trailer, bringing unprecedented rear-facing visibility to the trucking industry.
The chipset supports 250/250Mpbs of bandwidth and works over the tractor-trailer’s existing jumper cable and an unshielded twisted pair cable, for a total link distance of 40m.
The link tunnels multiple interfaces, including 100Mpbs Ethernet for a rear-view camera, as well as I2C and UART for other control applications such as brakes and turn signals. The VA600R coexists with Power over Data Line while maintaining signal integrity in the harsh electromagnetic environment of the truck.
