Self-harm, including suicides have always been an issue for prisons worldwide. 15 minute interval "suicide watch" is one method to help spot and react to certain self-harm in motion, however it is not enough. It also ends up costing millions in litigation costs for correctional operators. In recent years however, substance abuse, namely Fentanyl overdose has rampaged many jails and correctional facilities killing dozens. Xandar Kardian's technology uses radar to automatically and continuously monitor the vital sign of inmates (occupants) without any wearable or camera looking at them. It can spot deterioration in real-time and alert appropriate staff to intervene.
