CTA Announces New Investment in Quantum World Congress

Collaboration explores future of quantum computing

ARLINGTON, VA – January 7, 2025 – Today at CES® 2025, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® announces its new investment in Quantum World Congress, a first-of-its-kind global conference dedicated to uniting visionaries, innovators, and technology trailblazers to explore how quantum computing will shape the future. The announcement was made during CTA’s State of the Industry keynote, igniting excitement about the boundless opportunities quantum advancements can deliver. 

“This collaboration with Quantum World Congress spotlights the incredible innovations in this field and highlights why quantum is no longer just the future—it’s now,” said Gary Shapiro, CEO and Vice Chair, CTA. “From accelerating drug discovery to securing global communications, quantum breakthroughs are poised to redefine industries, economies, and the very fabric of innovation.”

Launching the Quantum Journey at CES: 
CES 2025 will host a half-day “Quantum Means Business” program with Quantum World Congress on January 9, convening the brightest quantum minds and showcasing breakthroughs that were once confined to science fiction. Industry leaders from IBM, Microsoft, and beyond will share insights into how quantum, paired with advancements in AI and machine learning, is creating unparalleled opportunities across industries.
