Currently The Verge's smart home reviewer, she has written for The New York Times: Wirecutter, Dwell, Wired, BBC Science Focus, and US News & World Report, among others. She started her career at the UK's Daily Telegraph before moving to Sun Valley, Idaho. She now lives in a semi-smart house in Charleston, South Carolina
