John is the Cybersecurity & Functional Safety Excellence Lead for vehicle systems at Eaton, chair of the SAE Vehicle Cybersecurity Systems Engineering Committee and co-convenor with ISO on automotive cybersecurity standards, such the ISO/SAE 21434. John was inducted the 2019 "Contributor of the Year" class at SAE, for his contributions to the advancement of the mobility industry.
