Rebecca Kelly Slaughter was sworn in as a Federal Trade Commissioner on May 2, 2018. Before joining the FTC, Slaughter served as Chief Counsel to Senator Charles Schumer. Slaughter received her B.A. in Anthropology from Yale University and her J.D. from Yale Law School. She lives in Maryland with her wonderful husband and their four amazing children.
